3 DAYS MAASAI MARA
Day 1: Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive down
the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to arrive at Maasai Mara
Game Reserve in time foran afternoon game drive. Lunch enroute. Later proceed
for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a camp.
Days 2: Morning and afternoon game drives from the
comfortable base of the camp, explore the parks amazingly high concentration of
game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including
migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although
July, August andSeptember are the months when the Mara plains are filled with
migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The
famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve.

Day 3: Depart

Day 1: Depart in the morning and drive South to
Namanga, the Kenya/Tanzania border to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch
enter into Amboseli National Park with a possibility of seeing game on the way
to the campsite. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2: Full day of game viewing in the Park. Amboseli
National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest
mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's
most popular
spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah,
buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after
photographer's paradise. Meals and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Proceed for an early morning game drive before
breaking camp and drive north to arrive back in Nairobi early afternoon.

the park. Also to be seen is a myriad different variety of birdlife in and
around the lake. Flamingoes are also plenty at the lake.

5 DAYS SAMBURU AND THE
LAKES
Day1: Depart Nairobi in the morning and pass
through the agricultural farmlands on the slopes of Mt. Kenya to arrive at the
semi-arid and open savannah plains of Samburu Game Reserve in time for lunch.
Proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at a
permanent campsite beautifully set on the edge of the river under a canopy of
trees.
Day 2: Full day of game viewing in the park famous as
the place for the Samburu
semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra gerenuk,
beisa oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Meals and
overnight at the permanent camp.
Day 3: Leave Samburu early in the morning to make a
scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau with lunch enroute and
later descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Baringo
in the afternoon . This a fresh water lake which supports a great variety of
birds as well as Hippo and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at a camp.
Day 4: Depart early in the morning and head south
via Lake Bogoria which is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and home
of flamingoes and arrive at the hot springs and the geysers all which
contribute to the beauty of the lake. After lunch proceed to Lake Nakuru in the
south. This is another shallow soda lake which inhabits more than a million
flamingoes. The Lake Nakuru National Park also has a Rhino sanctuary. Other
animals to be seen here are lion, buffalo, waterbuck, warthhog and hippo.
Dinner and overnight at a camp at the Park.
Day 5: After breakfast proceed to Nairobi arriving
in the early afternoon.

8 DAYS TURKANA EXPEDITION
The expedition is in a purposely-built truck,
this rugged 1,600 km safari to vanishing Africa tackles some of Africa’s worst
roads, crosses dusty deserts and high mountains and takes you to the sparkling
waters of the Jade Sea Lake Turkana.
Day 1: Lake Baringo: Depart Nairobi in the morning
stopping at the top of the world to view the great Rift Valley. Lunch at Nakuru
and arrive at Lake Baringo late afternoon. Watch out for hippo while you
shower. Overnight at the campsite.
Day 2: South Horr: Cllimb out of the Rift Valley in
the morning chill towards Maralal and the red-ochred Samburu people,who are
still nomadic and proud. Then another spectacular climb up Losiolo and down
past Baragoi to South Horr where we camp next to a small clear stream.
Day 3: Lake Turkana: Break early in the morning for
Lake Turkana. The rough road gets worse as we descend across ancient lava flows
towards the Jade Sea and the Oasis Loiyangalani lying between the lake and Mt.
Kulal. We arrive at our permanent beach campsite just outside Loiyangalani soon
after lunch and settle in our traditional Turkana huts with a cool breeze
blowing from the lake. Indeed a perfect place to relax protected from scorching
sun and heat characteristic of the harsh climate of this remote area.
Day 4: Lake Turkana: We spend the day relaxing and
bathing only interrupted by a short boat excursion to visit the surrounding
areas where crocodiles and birds may be spotted. In addition, we visit Loiyangalani
and the community settled there while in the evening we may visit one of the
Turkana Manyattas for traditional dances under a star studded sky at an extra
cost if clients wish. Unforgettable experience.
Day 5: Maralal: Up the Horr valley and back to Baragoi,
camping further South at Maralal.
Day 6: Samburu: We arrive at Samburu park around
lunch time and settle in our Permanent campsite beautifully set under a canopy
of trees on the edge of Uaso Nyiro River .
Day 7: Samburu; A day game viewing in the park.
Elephants abound: you may see lion, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Grey's zebra
and oryx.
Day 8: Nairobi: The road back to Nairobi passes over
the high shoulder of Mt. Kenya. Lunch on the way arriving in Nairobi by later
afternoon

Day 3: Morning drive to Outspan Hotel for lunch.
Transfer to the Aberdares National Park for an evening of game viewing from
Treetops where there a pegeant of animals, coming to lick from a water hole
nearby.
Day 4: After breakfast at the Outspan Hotel drive via
Nyahururu Falls to Lake Naivasha Country Club for lunch. In the afternoon continue
to the Maasai Mara National Reserve for overnight at Sianna Springs Luxury

ROUTE 1.
Day
1. Nairobi/Nanyuki
Depart Nairobi mid morning for Nanyuki arriving in time for lunch. The
afternoon is spent in this area for acclimatization. Dinner and overnight in a
budget hotel.
Day 2. Old Moses Camp
After breakfast, drive to Sirimon Park Gate. After chek-in start hiking through
the Rain Forest for 9 km to Old Moses camp (3300m). Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Shipton Camp
Depart Old Moses Camp at 7:30 am via Mackinders Valley to Shipton Camp (4200m).
The distance takes 6 to 7 hrs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4.Point Lenana-
Chogoria
Early morning departure (3:00 am) to the summit, a walk that takes 3 hrs to
point Lenana (4985m) arriving at 6:30 in the morning. After sunrise, descend to
Mintos Hut for full breakfast and later proceed down through the Gorges valley
to Chogoria Bandas and campsite. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Chogoria/Nairobi
After breakfast, set on morning journey to Chogoria (32km). 4WD vehicles are
provided but during bad weather, climbers may have to walk some disance as
vehicles may not reach the Bandas. From Chogoria transport is provided back to
Nairobi, arriving late afternoon.

ROUTE 2
Day 1. Nairobi/Mt Kenya
Depart Nairobi in the morning arriving Naromoru in time for lunch. After lunch
you proceed to Mt Kenya Youth Hostel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Met Station
After breakfast, proceed to Naromoru Park Gate and start hiking to Met Station
(3300m). The hiking takes about 3 hrs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Mackinders Camp
Depart Met Station after breakfast and proceed to Teleki Valley arriving
Mackinders Camp (4300m) early evening. Picnic lunch enroute. Dinner and
overnight.
Day 4. Austrian Camp
Depart at 10:00 am after breakfast ascending along a steep screw to Austrian
Hut (4700m). Covering this distance takes about 3 hrs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Point
Lenana-Chogoria
Departing at 5:30 am, proceed through Lewis Glacier to Point Lenana(4985m)
arriving approx. 6:30 am in the morning. After the sunrise, descend down to
Mintos Hut for full breakfast. Later descend along the famous Gorges Valley to
Chogoria campsite. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6. Chogoria- Nairobi
After breakfast, set on morning journey to chogoria (32km).4WD vehicles are
provided but during the bad weather, climbers have to walk some distance as
vehicles may not reach the bandas. From Chogoria transport is provided back to

the rain forest for the ten kilometers to the met station for dinner and
overnight

Day 3:Met Station-Mackinders Hut
After breakfast continue ascend to mackinders camp for dinner and
overnight.
Day 4: Mackinders Hut
–Met Station
Wake up very early in the
morning around 2.30a m and attempt point lenana via Austrian Hut to mackinders
camp for breakfast and then descend down to Met Station for dinner and
overnight.
Day 5:Met Station-Nairobi
After breakfast, descend
the last bit of Mount from met station via Naro Moru main gate for a short
drive to Naro Moru town to catch your transport to Nairobi where the tour ends.

Transfer from Nanyuki
hotel breakfast to the Sirimon gate where the climbing starts, Walk through the
rain forest for 9 km (5 hrs walk)to the first mountain hut-Old Moses (3300)for

Day 3: Old Moses-Shipton
Camp
After breakfast at Old
Moses, continue climbing through Mackinders Valley to the second hut Shipton
Hut (4200m) for Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: ShiptonHut- Pt
Lenana - Old Moses
Early in the morning we climb to point lenana 4985 m (17,058).on a very clear
day we should be able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro in the South of Mt.Elgon to the

Day 1:.Nairobi –Nanyuki
Leave Nairobi by public means accompanied by our Mountain guide arriving
Nanyuki in time for lunch. Afternoon is spent in Nanyuki acclimatizing. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel in Nanyuki.
Day 2 :Nanyuki– Old Moses
Camp
After breakfast, drive to
the Sirimon Park gate and begin your 5 hours hike to Old Moses Camp,3,330m
above sea level for meals and overnight at the hut
Day 3: Old Moses
Camo-Shipton Camp
After breakfast , walk
from Old Moses camp via mackinders valley to Shipton Hut (4200.Dinner and
overnight at the camp.
Day 4:Shipton
Point-Lenana-Mintos Hut
Wake up very early in the morning around 2.30 hrs ready to hike to Point
Lenana(4,985).on a clear day, we should be able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro to the
South,Mt.Elgon to the west and the Indian Ocean to the East after Point
Lenana,descend to Mintos(4,250m). for break fast then proceed to road Head for
lunch and dinner and overnight.
Day 5:
head-Chogoria-Nairobi
After breakfast, an early
walk will take us to Chogoria for lunch then back to Nairobi arriving in the
afternoon having conquered Mt. Kenya

CLIMBING
ROUTE 1
Day 1.
Nairobi/Arusha/Moshi
Depart Nairobi by morning
shuttle to Moshi arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Machame Hu
Drive to Machame Village.
The climb begins at the end of the tarmac road, walking for about 6 hrs
gradually ascending through the forested hills onwards to Machame Hut (3000m).
Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Shira Hut
Early in the morning, you
will cross a valley and stream before ascending a steep ridge. The path then
drops into a river gorge before you climb more gently onto the moorland of the
Shira plateau - 3,800m. Total climbing time is about 6hrs. Dinner and
overnight.
Day 4. Barranco Hut
The path continues
directly up the ridge towards Kibo, then turns right and descends into Barranco
gorge. Climb to Barranco hut at 3940m shortly after. Total climbing time is
about 6 hrs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Barafu Hut
Crossing the Barranco
Valley, climb the Barranco wall (not technical climbing), then follow the Kibo
South Circuit. You will then turn left and climb up a ridge for about 2 hrs to
Barafu hut at 4,600m . Dinner and overnight.
Day 6. Mweka Hut
Very early start for the
summit first to Stella Point and then Uhuru Peak at 5895m. After sunrise,
descend down to Mweka hut, which takes about 6 hrs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7. Mweka Gate
This is the last day of
your climb. You will descend to Mweka Gate where you will be met and
transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8. Arusha/Nairobi
Depart Moshi by morning
shuttle back to Nairobi arriving approx 1830hrs.

Day 1.
Nairobi/Arusha/Moshi
Depart Nairobi by morning
shuttle to Moshi arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Mandara Hut
After breakfast, drive 45kms to Marangu Gate (1860m). Walk 9 kms through dense
semi-tropical Rain Forest to Mandara Hut (2744m). Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Horombo Hut
Depart early morning for
a 10hr walk up to Horombo Hut (3761m). The landscape becomes more rigged and
rocky but superb, with mawenzi and Kibo peaks in view. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Kibo Hut
After breakfast, proceed
on a 6hr walk throguh spectacular mountain vegetation to Kibo Hut (4732m).
Dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Uhuru Peak/Horombo
The final attempt to the
summit is made in the early hours of the morning at 2:00 am. It takes about 5
hrs to the most difficult steep part of the route to Gilman Point(5681m). From
Gilmans, it takes one hour thirty minutes to Uhuru Peak (5895m.) Descend to
Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.
Day 6.
Moshi/Arusha/Nairobi
Descent is rapid. After
breakfast, walk down to Marangu Gate for transfer to Moshi. Dinner and
overnight in Moshi
Day 7. Arusha/Nairobi
Depart Moshi by morning
shuttle back to Nairobi arriving approx. 1830 hrs.
